This look is usually meant only for the daring, so if you want to make a roaring statement as you enter the room, you should definitely consider an animal print prom dress this year. Designers such as Sherri Hill and Colors Dress both offer their take on this trend.

For the girl whose personal style doesn’t call for all of the bling, but still wants to turn heads, a trend that the French Novelty stylists have dubbed “Simplistic Couture”, may be more your speed. Although these dresses are adorned with little to no beading, they are far from simple. Simplistic couture dresses usually feature plunging necklines, thigh high slits, or strappy backs.
